海星和螃蟹

1.(螃蟹在沙滩上玩,看见渔民们把海星剁成了三四块,看着海星很疼的样子,螃蟹伤心地哭了。)

crab:Alas! Sea star, how couldthey be so cruel!

螃蟹:哎呀,海星,他们怎么能这么残忍呢!

cruel (形容词,残忍的。)

2 .(海星坏笑着,螃蟹很吃惊。)

sea star:Hee-hee...Never mind!No matter how many pieces theycut me into, I'll become the samenumber of little sea stars.

海星:嘿嘿……没事儿,他们把我剁成几块,我就会变成几个小海星。

crab:Oh, it' s hard to believe youare a magician!

螃蟹:噢!没想到你还是个魔术师了呀!

cut (动词,切;剁。)

become (动词,变成;变为。)

magician (名词,魔术师。)

3.(几天后,小海星看见螃蟹前面的两个钳子没有了,难过地哭了。)

Sea star:You are a martial general.What should you do now?

海星:你可是个威武的大将军,这下可怎么办呢?

martial (形容词,威武的。)

general (名词,将军。)

4.(螃蟹得意地笑着,小海星很吃惊的样子。)

crab:Hee-hee…The new will come after the old goes.I' ll have the newpincers soon.

螃蟹:嘿嘿……旧的不去,新的不来嘛!过段时间我就会长出新的螯足的!

Sea star:Hee, I haven 't recognized you guy have your own secret weapon.

海星:呵!你这家伙,原来有自己的秘密武器呀!

pincer(名词,螯足。)

recognize (动词,认出。)

weapon (名词,武器。)

知识拓展:你知道吗?海绵和海星一样,被分成几块就可以变成几个小海绵。壁虎和螃蟹类似,尾巴掉了是可以重新长出来的。
